Central Library of Nabagram Amar Chand Kundu College

Has started with the establishment of this college in the year 2008. Since then, it has grown in size and content along with the University of Kalyani to take the present shape. It is situated in ground floor. Library has more than 5000 books including textbooks and reference books. We are trying our best to adapt with the technological advancement. The library has developed computer-based information storage. News dailies are also kept for regular readers. The library has enough reading spaces for students and teaching and non-teaching staffs.

Library Rules

1. Borrowed books should be returned within 2 weeks.
2. Defaulters shall have to pay a fine of ₹1 per day till the date of return. Up to a maximum of ₹20/- only per month.
3. Books should not be damaged or disfigured in anyway. Borrowers should notify all damages found in the book at the time of taking out, otherwise they will be held responsible for any damage that may be found at the time of return.
4. Students may borrow one volume only at a time.
5. Books should be returned before every long vacation.
6. Loss of card should be reported immediately along with proper documents.
7. Absence from the college is not accepted as an excuse for not returning the book (s) in time.
8. Sub- lending or transferring of books to another person's name is not permitted
9. A fine of Rs. will be imposed for issue of duplicate Library / Identity card.
10. A Students must returen the borrowed books before two weeks of the commencement of the University examinations. Admit Card will be issued only after the clearance from the library.
11. Mark Sheets will not be issued to the students until they return to the books to the library.
